Drain Cleaning
Is this a simple clog, or something deeper in the system?
A slow drain can be a quick fix, or it can be the first sign of a problem further down the line. The first step is figuring out which one it is, so the clearing actually solves it instead of postponing it.

Match the symptom
Four situations, four different next steps
A clearing fixes a clog. It doesn't fix buildup, a main-line obstruction, or a damaged line; those need a different response.
When clearing isn't enough
A clear restores flow. It doesn't fix the cause.
If the same drain keeps clogging, the buildup is usually deeper, coating the pipe walls, not just blocking the opening. Clearing it again buys time, but jetting or inspection addresses what's actually causing it.

Tell us what the drain is doing
Describe the fixture, how long it's been slow, and whether it's happened before. That's usually enough to point toward the right next step.
