Drain & Sewer
Is it one clog, or the whole line?
Drain and sewer problems look similar from the kitchen sink, but the fix is very different depending on where the blockage actually sits. Here's how to tell them apart, and where each one leads.

Match the symptom
Four situations, four different fixes
The first job is locating the problem. Choose the scenario closest to yours and you'll land on the service that usually fits.
How we narrow it down
Symptom → Inspect → Diagnose → Next step
1Start with the symptomWhich fixtures, how often, and what you're seeing: that narrows where to look.
2Inspect the lineWhen the symptom suggests the main line, a camera sees inside instead of guessing.
3Diagnose the causeBuildup, roots, a crack, or a collapse each call for a different response.
4Clear or repairClean the line, repair a section, or go trenchless, matched to what's actually wrong.
Clearing vs. diagnosing
Not every method does the same job
Drain cleaning clears a blockage. Hydro jetting removes buildup from the pipe walls. Camera inspection tells you what's actually in there. They're often used in sequence, not interchangeably.
